I think it's consolidating into some sort of triangle right now. It's too early to tell though.

Major support of Dow is at 7878 if it falls below 7875 this is gonna be a free fall with no support at all to the downside.

btw, just curious. is it too late (in general) to short stocks? not that i'm going to short any at the moment.

I don't consider that a support because when you look at the chart there was a wide space between 2003 and 2008 and that support is no longer a valid support.

i have Murphys' book on TA (but havent read it yet) and i was just curious as to how many years/mos back u would consider to be 'valid' support?
