3. I really can't tell if it is a H&S pattern because of the left should is too weird.
ok, i'm revising MSFT..after reviewing this Head and Shoulders Reveral article.

quoting from the article:
QUOTE:
The pattern contains three successive peaks with the middle peak (head) being the highest and the two outside peaks (shoulders) being low and roughly equal
...
Left Shoulder: While in an uptrend, the left shoulder forms a peak that marks the high point of the current trend. After making this peak, a decline ensues to complete the formation of the shoulder (1). The low of the decline usually remains above the trend line, keeping the uptrend intact.
Head: From the low of the left shoulder, an advance begins that exceeds the previous high and marks the top of the head. After peaking, the low of the subsequent decline marks the second point of the neckline (2). The low of the decline usually breaks the uptrend line, putting the uptrend in jeopardy.
Right Shoulder: The advance from the low of the head forms the right shoulder. This peak is lower than the head (a lower high) and usually in line with the high of the left shoulder. While symmetry is preferred, sometimes the shoulders can be out of whack. The decline from the peak of the right shoulder should break the neckline.
ok i'm calling this the Triple Header H&S Reversal

btw, the TP reaches the $13 support --i dont know when that support was established though.i can only make 3yr charts.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCkwc0FOuPA

i recommend all newbies, new graduates of AT seminar, to anyone, to use this feature to gauge your understanding of technical analysis. Do not trade live just yet. If you fail in the simulation, what more in live trading?

I'm not an expert, I just know a little bit of this and that. you will see in the video that i missed the exit but I did maximized the profitability of the trade.

To anyone interested in buying a discounted license of Amibroker just email me. we need at least 10 orders para discounted nagbenta pa eh noh ha ha

boss yeahbah, very cool

so let me see if i understood the video...

1. u bought on breakout on the symmetrical triangle; breakout occurred most likely because of the previous uptrend.
2. did u average up when the price bounced off the trendline (circles in aqua)?
3. where did u take ur profits? --pink circle? green circle?
4. what was your return on the backtest?

thanks!!

cge, i'm still working on the funds for the Ami hehehe

hehe simulation lang yan ng entry/exit, pattern recognition and trendlines. not a full back test and cost averaging is another story.

to answer your questions:
