No trading on January 2 (Tuesday) on the NASDAQ stock market. The NYSE might follow suit....

What the heck happened last night?

Ang lakas ng Dow & Nasdaq. Dow was up by 110 pts in the first 2 hours. Nasdaq was up by 30 pts in the same time. Then it went into the red by 3pm their time. It finished just slightly up...it don't look good for long positions...

Good for us shorters!

I agree Yamada, I too am a shorter so good for us. Pero it had to do something with the Fed minutes indicating housing slump. Laki nga gulat ko eh yung gising pa ako the Dow was up 100 pts pag gising ko less than 20 na lang yung gain.... hock:

The market tried to stay up last night. Only the Dow was convincingly green. Nasdaq seemed to struggle.
