How to compute Commission & Charges 1 Year, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi AT people,

I need help on how philstocks.ph compute the commission & charges. I want to enter my trades in excel. Then, I realize parang ang laki ng kinukuha ng philstocks compared to citisec.

One more, checking the philstocks.ph calculator.. iba sya sa actual charges kapag naka pag buy and sell kana...

sorry i don't know kung paano ung sabi nila .25% or 20 pesos whichever is higher.. tapos if u will apply 12% sa 20 pesos.

Ganito lang yan. First you have to know what is your commission rate. If it was said to be 0.25% or 0.5% or whatever other rate, the formula is:

Unit Price X Number of shares = Extension. Then Extension X commission rate.

Once you know how much the commission is, multiply that with 12% VAT.

Di pa tapos, meron pa tayong mga PCD Fee and SCCP Fee. Minimal naman mga ito. If I remember correctly, PCD Fee should be Extension X .0000917.
Parang ganun...check w/ the broker sa mga ito na lang.

Dati may Doc Stamp pa which is dependent on the par value of the stock, now wala na yan. Sa selling, meron pa rin Sales Tax which is Extension X 0.5%.

So now you know bakit ang hirap maka-attract sa ibang tao ang market natin. Daming binabayaran.

*may sinasabi ang philstocks they are charging 20 pesos whichever is higher sa comapred to .25%

I placed here comparison of the two COL and Philstock charges. You can see the difference. Little more than 3% more in "Buy" charges and little over 8% more in "Sell" charges for Philstock.
