I have been using TD Ameritrade since I started no complaints whatsoever. But Zecco.com intrigues me since free commission I am just not sure kung ok yung company. You can open an account online then fund it via wiring.

Minimum is dependent on the broker. Pero I would recommend $10K at the very minimum to seriously trade US stocks anything lower might not be worth the while.

And if you apply make sure apply for margin so you can short.
