ANI & a Chinese agricultural conglomerate is striking a deal within the month.
Bei Da Huang (BDH for short), a giant China-based agricultural conglomerate, listed in the HK stock market, does agricultural land farming where the land area is twice the size of Taiwan! They have been very bullish in doing business with the Philippines. They've been in the Philippines doing their experiments of cross breeding different rice varieties for the past 2 yrs and have already developed a super hybrid variety that can withstand flood & extreme heat. Take note that this is hybrid and not GMO.
BDH's vigorness was dampened by the ZTE scandal that prompted the Dept. of Agriculture to suspend all agricultural projects between its office and its Chinese controlled companies. BDH, together w/ ANI, is setting foot to supply rice seedlings, not only locally but to the entire SEA region w/ an initial income of P150M for 2010 to conservatively expand exponentially year over year.
