An important support at 1.5720 is already broken. The last time it visited that level it bounced immediately and stayed away for months. This time around it broke that level and at the same time broke out from rectangle consolidation. In my book, that's a very bearish setup. What I will do from hereon is to short this pair on every opportunity I get. Next support is at 1.5350.

My first target is actually near 5720 -- previous support, now resistance. If the price go above that resistance, then my next target would be 1.58 (61.8%). After that, it's somewhere near the the broken support line on the daily chart. I'd probably be looking to short if it goes near that level.

^good of it makes beyond 1.5800. On my charts, It looks like it wont go beyond 1.5800. but just keep your sell order in place just in case. Besides, the reason the price went up beyond 1.5700 was due to some news that EU is going to rescue Greece after all. Other than that it is all hopes that is keeping up the price. Fundamentals has not changed.

Other risk event that could drive down the price is the manufacturing data due to come out today but I am more inclined to believe that BOE Gov Mervyn King's speech will drive down this pair anew. Nothing good for the GBP has been coming out of this guy lately.

My preference, I'd like to go in on the first sign of faiure.
