Postby jimsyabsolute » Tue May 26, 2009 6:05 pm

Hey guys,

I'd really like to keep track on these commodities, any chance we can use amibroker to
keep track of Oil, Gold, Cooper and $-P exchange rates?

Please post instructions here, thanks!!!!

I don't where you get oil, copper and commodities data but I believe you will have to subscribe to a data feed service to get that. As for gold, I think it's available in Metatrader. Download the software then sign up for a demo account.

Some Metatrader platforms also offer oil, metals, commodities, offshore indeces aside from currencies.

You can also try www.livecharts.co.uk for futures of oil, gold, etc. It has minute by minute chart and daily chart. But I don't know if you can use this for your charting software.

For tracking peso-dollar rates, there's no other way except to input it manually. Your sources can be the website of inquirer (http://business.inquirer.net/forex) but you have to do this daily, the business section of Philippine Star (it lists the open, high, low, close & volume), and a Chinese newspaper whose name escapes me right now.

Baka may iba pang sources.

How about other currencies? Like, euro/dollar?
