The USD may continue to weaken. My downside target for the dollar index is 77.4.

I did a quick glimpse at my USD chart. Yes, I'm still bullish.

on the daily chart:

* extreme zone - 224%
* formation of higher low
* buy will be triggered when it crosses the bearish trendline.

USD index broke 224% support, next target is at 75.8

Jobless claims rose from 520k to 536k and did not affect the USD.

Does this mean that the selling pressure is exhausted?

I don't think so. The figure is not strong enough to reverse the sentiment against the dollar.
