Here's something to think about:

sell entry order at 1.4490
stop: 1.4540
Target: 1.43
Trailing stop 50 pip movements

Words of caution: This is a very speculative trade. Trade t your own risk.

^ The spot is still untouched so I'm cancelling the trade. That was a false alarm. Though I am still ultra bearish on this one.

NFP induced movements when opposite the trend lasts only 1-2 days then traders come back to their senses to resume trend. So I am speculating that reversal to the downside is just around the corner. A spot I am looking at is the 1.4580-14620 zone. Aside from being a 36.8% fib, there were 3 occasions that this was a support level. But my favorite of all is a more logical spot to short at 1.4680-1.47 zone, a 50% fib and has a long line of support and resistance history.

Nice observation mr. halimaw master he he I'll observe the price action once it hits the 50% fib retracement. If that level fails, there's a good chance that my sell short price will get hit which between 78.6% and 88.6%.

^ Well yeah, short term long positions are ok for now. In the absence of USD moving Fundamental announcements today, I don't see any event risk right now.

Happy New Year po! ^_^

tanung ko lang po, is it possible that EU would go up and hit that support-resistance line? it seems to be solid with 50MA and 100MA also positioned there.

With the NFP coming out a bit off expectations, euro seems to have a better chance. ECB chief says that recovery seems to be quite solid in euro, which i don't really believe, with Greece, Spain, and the likes in trouble..

my take is long until price action gets back to sup-res line, 50ma, and 100ma, 1.4600. Then short till kingdom come! or just up to 1.4410 ("moderate your greed"~Master Bonner).

looks like master yeahbah's idol rob is right all along? :D
