You can trade this pattern the same way you trade a bearish butterfly pattern.

More like a potential bullish bat. D is at 748.

Hi Mr Yeahbah,

I noticed differences in ratios between the Harmonic Trader E book and Harmonic Trader.com. Example

C point in bullish butterfly in the harmonictrader.com is .886 of AB leg or .382 of XA leg
while in the e book Harmonic Trader, C point is .618 or .786 of AB.

I've been using both depending if its suits the stock graph. Main reference still as stated in both articles is the 1.27/1.618 of XA leg for point D.

On the ratios aside from the D point, can they vary as long as the important leg is formed?

Just checked the ebook, yup they're different alright. The author updated the pattern based on his observations, tests or whatever. The ebook I think was published way back in the 90s so I'd just follow the one on the website.

To answer your question about the D leg. The D or PRZ is strict, it should be within the ranges of XA and BC projection. When the levels converge, say 127% XA converges with 161.8% BC, it is likely the price might reverse from that point.
